We Had a Blast at IT Expo 2012 in Austin!

Vocalocity rounded up a posse and headed to Austin last week for TMCNet's ITEXPO, a conference combining all areas of the IP Communications industry. The team assembled brought together a great mix of Vocalocity talent with key members of the Marketing and Sales teams on hand talking with attendees about our lengthy list of benefits. Attendees learned about the features our 17,000+ customers enjoy when using a hosted VoIP phone system, and we demonstrated to IT professionals why reselling Vocalocity service is a shrewd (and lucrative!) business decision.

A stylish new booth seemed appropriate given the continued evolution of the Vocalocity offering and the new features and functionality on display. There were videos showing some of the great new integrations that putting a phone system in the Vocalocity cloud make available such as QuickBooks and SugarCRM, but it was the new reporting tools and administrator portal that garnered the bulk of the attention.

Folks who stopped by were really excited at the prospect of having all the information to manage their marketing, sales and customer service teams at their fingertips in a clean, intuitive display.

On top of the education and networking, some of the highlights of the show included Vocalocity’s giveaway of a behemoth remote-control truck which drew people in who were tired of the same old tablet prizes.

Off the trade-show floor, there was some time to explore the capital of Texas with its great live music scene, eclectic shops and personalities (Keep Austin Weird!) and the famed bats that inhabit the Congress Street bridge.
